Swedish / Relaxation Massage

This is the session you deserve after a long week — or a long month, or a long year. Using long, flowing Swedish strokes, I work through the full body to ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and give your nervous system genuine permission to exhale. Nothing is rushed. Everything is intentional.

Relaxation massage isn't "less than" therapeutic work — it's a different kind of therapy. Sometimes the most useful thing a body needs is to stop bracing and just be held for a little while.

Best for: General stress and tension, first-time clients, sleep issues, mental fatigue, anyone who hasn't been touched kindly in a while.

Therapeutic & Deep Tissue Massage

For people with something specific going on — a shoulder that's been bothering them for weeks, a hip that pulls on one side, a stubborn knot that won't quit. Slower, deliberate strokes and sustained pressure reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to address chronic tension patterns and restricted movement.

Some discomfort during deep work is normal — what we call "good hurt." But it shouldn't feel like something you're enduring. If the pressure is too much, we dial it back. The goal is release, not endurance.

A heads-up: some people feel sore for a day or two afterward. That's normal and usually resolves faster with hydration and gentle movement.

Best for: Chronic pain, injury recovery, athletes, postural issues, persistent tension in specific areas, repetitive strain.

Hot Stone Massage

Smooth, heated basalt stones glide along the body and rest on key muscle groups, letting heat do work that hands alone can't. The deepest kind of relaxation — your nervous system genuinely quiets down. Good in any season, especially for anyone who runs cold or holds tension like armor.

The stones are warmed to a carefully controlled temperature — never uncomfortable. The heat penetrates the muscles before the strokes do, so the body opens up faster and stays open longer.

Best for: Cold-natured people, deep stress, chronic muscle tightness, anyone who wants their muscles to surrender rather than fight.

Cupping Therapy

Glass or silicone cups create gentle suction that lifts the muscle and fascia rather than pressing down on it. This reaches the kind of stubborn tension and adhesion patterns that traditional strokes can't always release — especially in the back, shoulders, and IT band.

A heads-up: cupping often leaves small circular marks where the cups sat. They're not bruises — they fade within a few days. We'll talk about placement and duration before we start so you know what to expect.

Best for: Stubborn knots, athletes, chronic back tension, anyone curious about traditional Chinese medicine–influenced bodywork. Cupping is often paired with traditional massage in the same session.

Pregnancy Massage

Adapted for the changing body of pregnancy — side-lying positioning with bolster support, modified pressure, and focused attention on the areas carrying the extra load: lower back, hips, feet, shoulders. Restorative without being clinical.

Available for second and third trimesters with doctor clearance. If you're in your first trimester or have a high-risk pregnancy, send me a message and we'll talk through whether massage is right for you right now.

Best for: Second and third trimester pregnancy, lower back and hip discomfort, swelling, sleep difficulty, anxiety leading up to delivery.

Sinus & Headache Relief

Targeted work on the face, scalp, jaw, neck, and shoulders to release the tension patterns behind chronic headaches and sinus pressure. Combines pressure-point work with gentle lymphatic techniques to help drain congestion and quiet the nerves that fire pain signals up the back of the head.

Many clients leave with their head feeling lighter for the first time in weeks. Not a replacement for medical care if you have migraines — but a meaningful complement to it.

Best for: Tension headaches, sinus pressure, jaw clenching, screen-time eye strain, migraine sufferers (between episodes).

Teen Swedish

A shorter, age-appropriate Swedish session for teen bodies — sports recovery, schoolwork tension, growing-body discomfort. Same calm space, scaled-down scope. Parent or guardian consent is required for clients under 18, and a parent is welcome to stay in the room if you'd both prefer.

Best for: Student athletes, teens with chronic posture/schoolwork tension, anyone 13–17 who could use the same kind of care adults get.
